Nice...very very funny. Love it.
It was a private joke, it suddently popped in my head, the scarecrows and the tin-men made me think of the Wizard or Oz (however, as a british series, i don't think it was made on purpose by the writers)
Come to think of it, my brother had a similar idea... though he only got as far as the scarecrow off Human Nature and Family of Blood...and incorporated Bender into the comic as well.

Yeah, the season 4 finale was brilliant, but desperatly sad, I'm still upset about the fate of Donna, so tragic. (if you haven't, you should watch the Confidential of this episode, whose title is "End of an era", excellent complement for the finale with many focuses on the characters and the work of Catherine Tate)
